The Summer Games originally started as the "Bar Olympics" with staff and patrons from the Stonewall and Candida's participating in fun, athletic games at the Rainbow Mountain Resort to raise funds for Lehigh Valley and Pocono HIV/AIDS support services. Rapidly growing in support, attendance,and fame the event was re-named The Summer Games to reflect the greatly broadened focus and features.

For 30 years, good people like yourself have supported and contributed to the success of FACT’S fundraising event, The Summer Games. We invite you to join the fun and festivities by celebrating with us at The Woods Campground in Lehighton, PA. This year, the 30th annual Summer Games will be held on Sunday, August 30th. The proceeds of this fun-filled day directly benefits individuals, families, and children who are infected/affected with AIDS/HIV throughout the FACT-Lehigh Valley, Pocono regions and & Berks County.

How can you help?

You or your organization can buy tickets to the 30th Annual Summer Games – and Save $5.00 each when you buy in advance. Buy raffle tickets – the prizes this year are bigger and better than ever! Become a patron of the Games, or buy a program ad for yourself, your family or your business. Buy a space on the Memorial Page, which will list names of those individuals whose lives have been claimed by this terrible disease. Sell your services, talents, and wares at one of our vendor spaces or get a group of people together and field a team on our field of dreams. In 2014, our mission continues, please show your support for those around you who continue in their personal struggles with HIV/AIDS. We also welcome you to the Wood’s Memorial Garden to light a candle in remembrance of our loved ones who have passed over from this horrible disease.

Throughout 2015, FACT celebrates the caring and giving of individuals, groups, and business’ – who through their constant and generous support over the many years have contributed over THREE MILLION DOLLARS to FACT. FACT’s mission has always been to improve the quality of life for those infected / affected by HIV/AIDS. We believe this can be done through the support of educational programs, direct services, and emergency financial assistance.
